Does anyone really care that Steve Spurrier is back in the SEC. I mean it was just a matter of time before he came back to the college game because the vaunted "Fun & Gun" offense just couldn't cut it in the NFL. Which stands for "Not for long" if you try to have an offense like the St Louis Rams without the receivers, running back, offensive line, or Quarterback. I'm not a big Spurrier fan, nor do I like the Gamecocks, but if there is one thing that I do despise it would be the Florida Gat...

Well, well, well. Look who is at the top of the AP poll tied with the Oklahoma Sooners. It's the Auburn tigers. The team that was supposed to win it all last year by using a weak Penn State victory in a bowl game almost two years ago, to shoot them straight into the BCS picture. I never thought in a million years that they would play for a BCS bowl game, let alone, play for a possible national championship. With a win over Georgia they might just do that. (Pending if they run the table and Ok...

I'm setting here watching WWE Monday Night Raw and I notice something disturbing. Usually the average wresting fan has a short memory when it comes to "heels" or "faces", but not in Shawn Michaels case. He is still getting booed by canadian fans after almost eight years ago from the stupid "Vince McMahon/Brett Hart" fiasco at Surviour Series. It wasn't Shawn Michaels fault that he got handed the belt by a guy who wanted to stick it to Bret Hart because he didn't want to let Hart get what he w...

One of the greatest NFL players to every lace up a pair of cleets past away today. Reggie White, former defensive end for the Eagles and the Green Bay Packers, past away this morning from reasons yet to be determined. Friends and reports say that White had suffered from respiratory problems that would keep him awake at night. But here is abit of the article that I found on my isp's home page. (White died at Presbyterian Hospital, where he was taken after his wife called 911. A police offi...

I watched the game yesterday, and the game was very entertaining. I don't really understand why all the "living up to the expectation" part. The media was the only driving force behind all the drama. Kobe kind of through some fuel of that fire when he accused Karl Malone of "hitting on his wife". So there were some that tuned in just to se Kobe lose. (One was me). The game started of with Kobe hitting everything he shot. First and second quarter looked like the Lakers might actually pull ...

I was a huge Jason GIambi fan when he wa with the Atheletics' a few years back. The year 2000 was his breakout year, almost carring the team to the playoffs. Until the team was eliminated by the Yankees. The next year, (if you can't beat 'um, join 'um) he became a Yankee and signed one of the largest contracts in MLB history. Then everything went down hill. He slumped most of the last couple of seasons with injuries and a tumor this past season. Then the talk of steriod use that could cost h...

I wondered what happened to Bret Boone. Not to long a go, he was in the top 3 in the MVP voting. Now, he is designated for assignment giving the team 10 days to cut, or trade him. The team called up a Jose Lopez, a 21-year-old second basemen, to take his place. They say that it's not a move for the future, but a means "To salvage the season". Yeah, right. Come on, Boone is 36. He's been a 12 year vet, and you mean to tell me that calling up a 21-year-old is not a move for the future after yo...

The Pats win there 3rd superbowl in 4 years by defeating the Eagles' 24-21. Very good game. Seamed like a old fashion game to me. WIth Terrell Owens going "old school" and playing hurt for the ring. That's what I'm talking about. That's how it's supposed to be. Playing for the love. Good game, wish both teams would have won. For the Eagles', there's always next year. -mx-

It's still up in the air, but Sosa is on his way out the door in Chicago to the Baltimore Orioles. Well, what the hell happened here? Sosa was the most beloved Chicagoian (if it's a word) since Michael Jordan. He (along with Mark McGwire) basicly resurrected baseball with the great home run race in '98. Sosa has had his image tarnished since then with accusations of steroid use, the cork bat fiasco, then bailing on the last game of the season, and critizicing baseballs most repected mana...
