Does anyone really care that Steve Spurrier is back in the SEC. I mean it was just a matter of time before he came back to the college game because the vaunted "Fun & Gun" offense just couldn't cut it in the NFL. Which stands for "Not for long" if you try to have an offense like the St Louis Rams without the receivers, running back, offensive line, or Quarterback. I'm not a big Spurrier fan, nor do I like the Gamecocks, but if there is one thing that I do despise it would be the Florida Gators. If i'm not mistaken, South Carolina is in the division as Florida, which means one team has a shot at the SEC championship.
Oh no. I've just made the mistake that Spurrier will turn the team around in one year. I don't think so. But Spurrier will have the team ready tor a bowl bid, though. And I want to add a quick word about Coach Holtz. He is one of the last "old school" coaches that the game has left. I hope to see him on the sideline soon, if not next year.
