Lifes not that bad, but I'm gonna bitch about it anyways....
So London won the bid for the Olympics.Link And I just have to ask the question. Does anyone really care? I mean personally, I don't care where the olympics are, I just want to see the games. But I guess if Paris got the bid, the bigger question would have been, "Would you even bother to care?"

Don't get me wrong. I love the olympic games, but having the decision on where the games to be held as some event is just overrated. And now New York is looking for the 2016 games. Jeeze. Now I understand how the games can affect a city. Like Atlanta in '96. Basically made the city even better afterwards, but the cities that are bidding are cities that are already tourist attractions. But if you think about it, isn't it all for the money anyway?

I don't know, maybe I'm just being cynical. Maybe it's a good thing for London. Aw well, alls I know is, is that I'm watching the games and I could care less where they are. They could be in Witchita, Kansas and I know I'd still watch. But anyway...

Well, i am glad London got the olympics, although i am disappointed that NYC dropped out so suddenly...i have thoughts in that polotics played a role in that...the view of the US isn't very good in Europe...

And then they shoot for 2016. Why? I mean they could have had it 4 years sooner. Ah, go figure
